{"id":215,"date":"2014-03-05T21:30:02","date_gmt":"2014-03-05T21:30:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.charlesduelfer.com\/blog\/?p=215"},"modified":"2014-03-05T21:31:56","modified_gmt":"2014-03-05T21:31:56","slug":"space-station-and-the-ukraine-crisis","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.charlesduelfer.com\/blog\/?p=215","title":{"rendered":"Space Station and the Ukraine Crisis"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The international space station is currently occupied by a crew of six.\u00a0 There are three Russians, two Americans and a Japanese member.\u00a0\u00a0 The commander is a Russian.\u00a0 Presumably they all get along and are bonded by their collective mission.\u00a0 Nevertheless, you have to imagine conversations may be a bit difficult.\u00a0 Or they may rise above the difficulties and personalities of leaders on the planet below them.<\/p>\n<p>But if they did not, imagine banning Russians from the American part of the station or vice versa.\u00a0 What role would the Japanese astronaut play?
