This puts it up on their RISK category.\u00a0 The good news is that its size (estimate based on object reflectivity) is only 2.6 m. \u00a0So if it hits Earth, it won\u2019t be a species-ending event (remember mass extinction of the dinosaurs of 65 million years ago).\u00a0 However, the kinetic energy of impact would still be 2.6 megatons TNT equivalent.
